The first appointment starts with a Traditional Diagnosis. Traditional Diagnosis is essentially a conversation that lasts about an hour which allows the practitioner to get to know you and what you expect from the treatment. It is also a space to talk about diet and lifestyle changes that can be made to help you to reach your desired goals. The second part of the Traditional Diagnosis is a short physical assessment where the practitioner takes the pulse, blood pressure and palpates the torso. The discussion and assessment lasts about an hour, this is followed by the first acupuncture treatment. In total the Traditional Diagnosis and first treatment lasts approximately two hours.

follow up treatments

Follow up treatments usually start with a short chat to ascertain how the treatment is progressing followed by the treatment. Follow up treatments last about an hour.

cancellation Policy

I currently operate a 24 hour cancellation policy, requiring 24 hours notice of your inability to attend, otherwise full payment for the missed appointment will be required at the next treatment (of course emergencies etc. will be looked at individually).
